The method comprises the following steps: building a cold rolling line overall model; setting strip steel parameters according to the cold rolling line overall model; inputting set strip steel parameters into the packaged built-in function to generate a strip steel model; acquiring a position change signal of a welding seam and a loop quantity change signal of a loop car; setting motion parameters; and according to the position change signal of the welding seam and the loop quantity change signal of the loop car, inputting set motion parameters into the strip steel model, calculating the real-time position of the welding seam, and moving according to the real-time position of the welding seam.
