Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the technical field of synthesis of 1, 4-butenediol, and discloses a method for synthesizing 1, 4-butenediol, which comprises the following steps: in the presence of a nitrogen-modified carbon-coated nickel catalyst, contacting 1, 4-butynediol with hydrogen for selective hydrogenation; wherein the nitrogen-modified carbon-coated nickel catalyst comprises a metallic nickel core and a nitrogen-modified graphitized carbon layer shell coated on the surface of the metallic nickel core; and the binding energy corresponding to the highest peak of the N1s spectrogram of the nitrogen-modified carbon-coated nickel catalyst measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 399.4 +/-0.3 eV.
