Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the technical field of side pressing sliding doors and windows, in particular to a side pressing system of a sliding door and window, a movable sash comprises transmission rods inserted in four sides of the movable sash, a locking device arranged on one side of the movable sash, and side pressing devices arranged on the other three sides, each side pressing device comprises a base fixedly connected to the movable sash and a movable part sliding on the outer frame, the bases are in transmission connection to the movable parts through transmission parts to achieve relative transverse sliding, and the transmission parts are arranged between the bases and the movable parts. Transmission rods are used for driving transmission parts on the side pressing devices, the movable parts and the bases slide relatively through the transmission parts, so that the bases and the edges of the movable sash synchronously translate towards the outer frame to achieve side pressing, production, installation
