The image processing method specifically comprises the following steps: step 1, acquiring a bright channel image and a dark channel image corresponding to a hot forging RGB image; step 2, performing pixel-by-pixel subtraction on the bright channel image and the dark channel image to obtain a single-channel difference image; 3, converting the RGB image of the thermal forging into an HSV format image and extracting a V-channel grayscale image; 4, performing gamma correction on the V-channel grayscale image by using the single-channel difference image; step 5, combining the corrected V channel gray level image with the H and S channel images in the HSV format image in the step 3 to obtain a corrected HSV format image; and step 6, converting the corrected HSV format image into an RGB image to obtain an image subjected to red heat interference weakening.
