Process for preparing salt by working up seawater

The salt-making process by using seawater includes the following steps: first step, evaporating and concentrating seawater to 12-15 deg. Baume, it is characterized by its second step, using lime cream to extract magnesium or firstly extract potassium, and then extract magnesium, third step, evaporating mother liquor to further concentrate to 15-18 deg. Baume, then using blowing-out method to extract bromine and fourth step, evaporating to make salt. Said invented process is more reasonable, the purity of the edible salt produced by said invention is high, it can be directly used for making alkali, doesn't produce a lot of bittern, the seawater utilization rate is high and product cost is low.
