The method comprises the following steps: displaying a target virtual character and a first virtual character in a virtual scene; in response to the fact that the target virtual character is in the target state, the moving speed of the target virtual character is adjusted to be the target speed corresponding to the target state; and in response to the fact that the target speed is within the target speed range, enabling the target virtual character to obtain a target virtual skill which is used for defending and/or attacking the first virtual character.
