Enhanced cell selection or reselection for low power wake-up signal mode of operation

Systems, methods, apparatus, and computer program products for enhanced cell selection or reselection of a low power wake-up signal (LP-WUS) operating mode. A method may include receiving a low power wake-up signal from a network element. The method may also include evaluating a strength of the low-power wake-up signal. The method may further include determining whether a cell selection criterion is satisfied based on the cell selection reception level value, the cell selection quality value, and the low power wake-up signal.
