Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an electric compressor comprising a compression mechanism for compressing a refrigerant by receiving power from a motor and an inverter for controlling the motor, wherein: a housing for accommodating the motor and the inverter includes a partition for separating a motor accommodating space from an inverter accommodating space, and an inlet port for introducing a refrigerant from the outside into the motor accommodating space; the housing has at least one internal flow path formed between an inner circumferential surface of the housing and an outer circumferential surface of the motor; and the internal flow path and the inlet port are arranged on opposite sides of a first plane which is an imaginary plane having a central axis of the housing therein and which is perpendicular to the ground, so that a plurality of elements of the inverter are sufficiently cooled as a whole, and a temperature deviation between the plurality of elements is reduced, thereby preventing burnout, shut
