The polylactic acid composite material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 40-60 parts of PLA, 10-20 parts of zinc oxide modified plant fiber, 0-30 parts of PBAT and 0-20 parts of PBS, the zinc oxide modified plant fiber comprises plant fiber and a zinc oxide coating layer, and the zinc oxide coating layer coats the surface of the plant fiber. The polylactic acid composite material has the advantages of high tensile strength, high elongation at break, favorable mechanical properties, favorable degradability and favorable antibacterial property.
