According to the invention, Ce element is doped in A2B4O8, Ce < 3 + > ions generate transition from 4f to 5d under excitation of near ultraviolet light, and blue-green light is emitted, so that the blue-green fluorescent powder for the white light LED is provided, the defect of blue emission in a spectrum of a near ultraviolet excitation white light LED technology in the prior art is overcome, the blue-green fluorescent powder can be applied to full-spectrum illumination, and in addition, the blue-green fluorescent powder can be applied to full-spectrum illumination. The fluorescent powder provided by the invention can also be well adapted to an LED chip with the wavelength of about 410nm.
