Electronic device with touchpad area and keyboard

An electronic device includes: a display; and a base portion operably coupled to the display and having a keyboard area and configured to sense a touch input, the base portion having a touchpad area in which the touch input is sensed and a peripheral area surrounding the touchpad area and the keyboard area.
