Hydrogen production system and method

The hydrogen production system includes a hydrogen pyrolysis reactor having a hydrocarbon input, an electrical input, and at least one hydrogen output. The hydrogen production system further comprises a hydrogen fuel generator. A device is provided that delivers a portion of hydrogen from one of the at least one hydrogen output to a hydrogen-fueled generator. The hydrogen-fueled generator then produces an electrical output that is delivered to the electrical input of the hydrocarbon pyrolysis reactor.
