The method comprises the following steps: according to the correlation between each independent variable and the product oil consumption, screening out an independent variable obviously related to the product oil consumption from a plurality of preset independent variables; constructing a time sequence model corresponding to the product oil consumption and a time sequence model corresponding to each screened independent variable; constructing a product oil consumption prediction model according to the time sequence model corresponding to the product oil consumption and each screened independent variable; and predicting the product oil consumption in a specified period in the future based on historical data of the product oil consumption, the time sequence model corresponding to each screened independent variable and the product oil consumption prediction model.
