The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing modified laponite and preparing the nano-composite pour point depressant from the modified laponite. The preparation method of the modified laponite comprises the following steps: adding nano laponite into a dispersion medium for dispersion to obtain a first dispersion system; adding a silane coupling agent and methacrylate into the first dispersion system, stirring, and carrying out suction filtration, washing and air drying on the product to obtain pre-modified laponite; and stirring the pre-modified laponite in a second dispersion medium, adding a surface modifier, stirring, and carrying out suction filtration, washing and air drying on the product to obtain the modified laponite.
