Zusammenfassung:Systems and methods for using a wearable wire feeder are provided. An example welding-type system may include a wire feeder device configured for operation in conjunction with a welding-type power supply unit and a welding-type welding torch, where the wire feeder device is a component physically separate from both the welding-type power supply unit and the welding-type welding torch, and where the wire feeder device includes at least: a welding wire source configured to receive a welding wire from the welding-type power supply unit and the welding-type welding torch; the welding wire source is configured to provide an electrode wire; and the wire feeding mechanism is configured to feed the electrode wire from the welding wire source.
