Safety belt state monitoring method

The invention provides a safety belt state monitoring method which comprises the following steps: binarizing a video stream acquired by a camera to obtain a binarized video stream; the camera is calibrated on the back of the safety belt, and the shooting angle is vertically downward; extracting an abrupt change frame in the binarized video stream by using the color change of pixel points in the binarized video stream; and determining the hooking state of the safety belt by using the color distribution characteristics of the pixel points in the abrupt change frame.
