The embodiment of the invention relates to a processing method and device for a seal in a document, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a to-be-processed document image which comprises a text and a seal; extracting image features of the document image from the document image; decoding a seal mask image corresponding to the seal from the image features; and restoring the seal based on the seal mask image to obtain a corresponding seal image.
