The filamentous fungus mutant strain capable of efficiently degrading the lignocellulose, disclosed by the invention, is formed by a wild type filamentous fungus Podospora anserina through gene knockout of a photoperiod gene PaFrq. The application firstly finds that the filamentous fungus Podospora anserina of which the gene knockout photoperiod gene PaFrq is delayed in senescence, prolonged in life cycle and improved in growth speed, can more efficiently degrade lignocellulose, particularly improves the cellulase activity under a dark condition, has more efficient lignocellulose degradation capability, and can be used for degrading lignocellulose in a dark environment.
