The invention relates to a medical device and a hysteroscope resection assembly. A medical device may include an elongate member, an irrigation agent port at a proximal end of the elongate member, and a resection assembly. The elongated member defines a first track and a second track. The resection assembly extends from the distal end of the elongate member and has a first member, a second member, and a motorily actuatable resection element extending from the distal end of the first member. The first member includes a first portion positioned along a first track. The second member has a first portion positioned along a second track, and the second member includes an axial fluid conduit passage in a longitudinal direction.
