Variable speed distributor

A dispenser for a roll of material includes a housing. The roll carrier is disposed within the housing. The roll carrier is configured to rotatably support a web material roll for dispensing. The motor is disposed within the housing, and the spindle is also disposed within the housing. The spindle is configured to engage the web material roll between the roll carrier and a free end of the web material roll.
