The method comprises the following steps: receiving a user video containing a body instance of a target user; performing human body three-dimensional reconstruction operation on the user video to generate a digital human image of the target user; receiving a replacement request for carrying out digital human replacement by using the digital human image of the target user; and replacing the target role in the target video with the digital human image of the target user to generate a replacement video. According to the invention, the digital figure of the target user is quickly generated according to the real person video body instance uploaded by the user, and the digital figure of the user is used to replace the target role that the user wants to replace, so that the action of executing the target role for the user in the finally generated video is enabled, thereby enhancing the sense of substitution
