METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INTER-UE RELAY FOR TRANSMITTING SIDELINK UE INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and apparatus for relaying between user equipments are disclosed. In one embodiment, an inter-user equipment relay establishes a first PC5 radio resource control connection with a first remote user equipment and establishes a second PC5 radio resource control connection with a second remote user equipment to support communication between the first remote user equipment and the second remote user equipment via the inter-user equipment relay. The inter-UE relay also transmits a first radio resource control message to the network node to request a sidelink transmission resource, wherein the first radio resource control message comprises an identification of the first remote user equipment and at least one of the following information: a destination identification of the second remote user equipment, an identification of a sidelink data radio bearer, a third identification of a PC5 quality of service flow, and a PC5 quality of service attribute set of the PC5 quality of service flow.
