The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a first monochromatic light image and a second monochromatic light image of edible oil under the irradiation of red light and blue light through a camera, and introducing an image processing and analysis algorithm based on artificial intelligence and machine vision technology at the rear end to analyze and compare the first monochromatic light image and the second monochromatic light image; therefore, visible impurities or foreign matters in the edible oil can be identified and detected. Therefore, automatic light inspection can be carried out on abnormal conditions such as visible impurities or foreign matters in the edible oil, so that intelligent production quality control of the edible oil production process is realized, and a final product is ensured to meet the quality standard.
