The transformation induced plasticity steel comprises the following chemical components: C, Si, Mn, Cu, P, S, N and Fe. Wherein the content of Si is 1.0%-2.0% by mass, the content of Cu is 0.5%-1.0% by mass, the content of C is 0.12%-0.17% by mass, the content of Mn is 1.3%-1.8% by mass, the content of P is smaller than or equal to 0.01% by mass, the content of S is smaller than or equal to 0.01% by mass, and the content of N is smaller than or equal to 0.004% by mass. The transformation induced plasticity steel provided by the invention meets the following mechanical properties: the yield strength is 420 MPa to 500 MPa, the tensile strength is 800 MPa to 860 MPa, the ductility is 28 percent to 35 percent, and the work hardening value is 0.18 percent to 0.2 percent.
