A surface acoustic wave reader comprises an emitter used for generating first electromagnetic waves, the first electromagnetic waves are used for exciting a plurality of different types of surface acoustic wave sensors, and the different types of surface acoustic wave sensors are used for detecting different physical parameters; the receiver is used for receiving second electromagnetic waves emitted by the multiple different types of surface acoustic wave sensors, and the second electromagnetic waves carry physical parameter information detected by the surface acoustic wave sensors; and the controller is used for calculating physical parameter values detected by the surface acoustic wave sensors based on the physical parameter information carried by the second electromagnetic waves and outputting the physical parameter values.
