Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses an emulsion type thickening agent for improving the recovery efficiency and a preparation method thereof in the technical field of thickening agents. The emulsion type thickening agent is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 10-15 parts of an emulsifier, 30-40 parts of deionized water, 35-45 parts of acrylamide, 25-35 parts of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, 4-5 parts of acrylic acid and 0.7-0.9 part of a cationic rigid monomer. In order to solve the problem of poor temperature resistance and salt resistance of a polyacrylamide thickening agent, the invention provides a mode of synthesizing a cationic rigid monomer from benzaldehyde and 1, 4-dimethyl pyridine-1-iodination to obtain a monomer integrating hydrophobicity, cation and rigidity, and meanwhile, a strong polar group is embedded into a polyacrylamide molecular chain, so that the temperature resistance and salt resistance of the polyacrylamide thickening agent are improved.
