Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for degrading organic pollutants in water by a redox mediator enhanced system, and belongs to the technical field of water treatment. The invention aims to overcome the defects of an iron/persulfate system and a traditional Fenton/Fenton-like technology. The method comprises the following steps: sequentially adding hydrogen peroxide or persulfate, a redox mediator and ferric salt into to-be-treated water containing the organic pollutants at room temperature, and completely reacting with the organic pollutants in the water under a stirring condition. The redox mediator is introduced, Fe (III) in a Fenton/Fenton-like system can be effectively reduced into Fe (II), so that Fe (III)/Fe (II) circulation is accelerated, and the removal efficiency of organic pollutants is improved; the redox mediator is introduced, Fe (III) in the iron/persulfate system can be effectively reduced into Fe (II), Fe (III)/Fe (II) circulation is accelerated, and the efficiency of the iron/persulfate syst |
