Polymer composition with densification accelerator and rotary molding method for manufacturing hollow articles therefrom

Disclosed is a rotary molding process for producing a hollow article, comprising the steps of: a) filling a mold with a polymer composition comprising: i) an organic polymer; and ii) a rotary molding densification accelerator (RMDA) selected from the group consisting of an alkoxylated fatty alcohol, an alkoxylated fatty ester, an alkoxylated fatty amine, an alkoxylated fatty amide, and combinations thereof; b) rotating the mould about at least one axis while heating the mould in an oven, thereby melting the composition and spreading it onto the mould wall; c) cooling the mould; and d) opening the mould; and e) removing the hollow article from the mold.
