A busbar system for a stator assembly of an electric machine, a stator assembly comprising such a busbar system, an electric machine comprising such a stator assembly and a manufacturing method for such a busbar system. The busbar system includes first, second, and third busbar members, at least a first spacer member, and at least a first pin member. Each busbar member is formed in an arc shape and is connectable to a single winding of the stator assembly for current supply. The first, second, and third busbar members are arranged substantially in a stacked arrangement.
