The invention relates to the technical field of submarine cables, and discloses a polypropylene insulation direct current submarine cable which comprises a cable body and a plurality of floating bag assemblies located on the cable body. The floating bag assembly comprises a connecting plate arranged on one side of the cable body, a fixed floating bag arranged on the upper side of the connecting plate, an overturning plate with one side hinged to the lower side of the connecting plate, a groove part arranged in the middle of the overturning plate and used for supporting the cable body, and a disposable floating bag arranged on the upper side of the end, away from the connecting plate, of the overturning plate. A pull rope is arranged between the floating bag assemblies, and an exhaust assembly used for puncturing the disposable floating bag after the pull rope is pulled is arranged between the pull rope and the connecting plate. The disposable floating bag is punctured through the exhaust assembly, the overtur
