The invention also discloses a heat-insulating glass fiber reinforced composite material and a preparation method thereof, the heat-insulating glass fiber reinforced composite material is mainly prepared from 55.6-58.7% by mass of glass fibers and an infiltrating material; the infiltration material is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 64-80% of epoxy resin, 16-20% of a curing agent, 0.5-9% of a vinyl silane coupling agent and 1-20% of modified hollow glass beads.
