Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a meat replacement product. In a first method step, a plurality of multi-component filaments are provided, which are designed such that they have a filler and a coating substance, the coating substance wrapping the filler. The filaments comprise water and additionally comprise proteins and/or fats. In addition, the filaments can have other additives such as fragrances and pigments. In a second method step, the filaments are connected to one another and an arrangement of filaments is created having a predefined region which is intended to simulate at least two meat-like components of the meat replacement product. In another aspect, the invention is directed to a meat replacement product which is produced and/or can be produced by means of the method according to the invention.
