Zusammenfassung:The invention belongs to the technical field of reactive power control, and particularly relates to a reactive power control method and system for a gravity energy storage system. The method comprises the following steps: calculating a difference value between a total reactive power target value of the gravity energy storage power station and a reactive power real-time value of reactive equipment, and taking the difference value as a power regulation value; the reactive power equipment comprises a generator motor and an SVG (Static Var Generator); determining reactive power target adjustment values of the generator motor and the SVG according to the power adjustment value, the set reactive equipment adjustment priority, the load limit value of the reactive equipment and the reactive power real-time value; and the generator motor and the SVG perform reactive power adjustment according to each reactive power target adjustment value, so that cooperative control of the generator motor and the SVG reactive power i
