Zusammenfassung: | An electric vehicle includes: a driving device including an AC motor and an inverter driving the AC motor; a control device for controlling the driving device; and a heat transfer device that transfers heat from the drive device to a heating target. The control device executes loss increase control for controlling the drive device so as to increase the power loss compared to a case where a predetermined heat requirement condition to be transferred to the heating target is satisfied. The loss increase control includes a first control of making a d-axis current of the AC motor greater than a reference d-axis current, which is the d-axis current when the heat demand condition is not satisfied, when an index value related to a rotational speed of the AC motor is less than a first threshold value.
