Dunnage conversion apparatus and method, and apparatus and method for making pouch packages

An automated pouch package manufacturing apparatus includes a dunnage conversion apparatus and a packaging apparatus. The dunnage conversion apparatus includes a stacking device for stacking an upper cover sheet material on a lower cover sheet material and placing an expanded dunnage material between the upper cover sheet material and the lower cover sheet material; and a lateral pressure applicator for applying pressure to the laminated product to bond the lower surface of the upper cover sheet material to the upper surface of the lower cover sheet material by an adhesive to form a strip of expanded padding. The packaging apparatus comprises a folding device for folding the strip on itself at a transversely extending crease such that an upper surface of a first strip portion covers an upper surface of a second strip portion and compresses opposite longitudinal sides of the strip along respective locations of a longitudinally extending adhesive, to bond the opposite longitudinal sides of the strip. 自动袋包装制造设备包
