The outer rotor motor comprises an outer rotor assembly and an inner rotor assembly; a locking mechanism is arranged between the rack and the outer rotor assembly, the locking mechanism comprises a locking mounting plate, an electromagnet and a locking piece, and the locking piece elastically slides on the locking mounting plate; the electromagnet is installed on the locking installation plate, when the electromagnet is powered on, the locking face of the locking piece is attracted and driven to be matched with the outer rotor assembly, the outer rotor assembly is locked, the electromagnet loses power, the locking piece elastically resets to be away from the outer rotor assembly, and the outer rotor assembly is unlocked.
