A CRISPR/cas9 gene editing method is utilized to edit the OsCCT22 gene in the rice to obtain an OsCCT22 gene edited strain, and the seed shattering of the rice mutant obtained after the OsCCT22 gene is edited is reduced, which shows that the OsCCT22 gene and the OsCCT22 protein thereof can regulate and control the seed shattering of the rice, and the seed shattering of the rice can be reduced by mutating the OsCCT22 gene and the OsCCT22 protein thereof. The method has a good application prospect.
