Zusammenfassung: | An internal combustion engine (100) for a two-wheeled vehicle (200) is provided. An internal combustion engine (100) includes a crankcase (102) and a vent chamber (104) defined on the crankcase (102). The vent chamber (104) is adapted to separate oil particles in blow-by gas received from the crankcase (102) and to conduct fresh air to an intake manifold of the internal combustion engine (100). A vent cover (106) is mounted to the crankcase (102) and adapted to cover the vent chamber (104). An integrated starter generator (ISG) unit (108) having a stator (108a) and a rotor (108b) is also provided, where the rotor (108b) is coupled to a crankshaft (110) disposed within the crankcase (102), and the stator (108a) is mounted on the vent cover (106). Such a configuration makes the layout of the internal combustion engine (100) compact, thereby reducing the width of the internal combustion engine (100).
