Zusammenfassung: | The invention belongs to the technical field of molecular biology and genetic engineering, and particularly relates to application of a stock pumpkin transcription factor gene CmHSF30 in improving heat resistance of plants. The transcription factor gene CmHSF30 for the rootstock pumpkin is obtained by utilizing an RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology, and the nucleotide sequence of the transcription factor gene CmHSF30 for the rootstock pumpkin is as shown in SEQ ID NO.1. The protein coded by the gene CmHSF30 belongs to plant HSF family transcription factors, so that the application of the HSF family transcription factors in plants is enriched; the overexpression of the CmHSF30 gene in pumpkin and arabidopsis thaliana can significantly improve the heat resistance of pumpkin and arabidopsis thaliana, and has important significance for cultivating heat-resistant germplasm resources or plant heat-resistant germplasm resources.
