The invention discloses a multispectral polarization optical imaging device and method, and relates to the field of imaging detection, in the device, a lens assembly carries out zooming according to a first instruction issued by a control assembly so as to converge light reflected by a target object to a multispectral polarization imaging assembly; the multispectral polarization imaging assembly determines a modulation wavelength and a modulation light polarization state according to a second instruction issued by the control assembly, and then performs spectral polarization modulation and reflection on received target object reflection light; the image processing assembly carries out convergence and polarized light interference on the received light subjected to spectrum polarization modulation so as to obtain polarization images, and the polarization images corresponding to different spectrums and different polarization states are fused according to an image processing instruction issued by the control asse
