According to the method, the magnetic carrier is prepared through microwave treatment, strong alkali activation and surface modification of the magnetic material, magnetism is enhanced, surface active sites are increased, the adsorption and flocculation capacity on fine particles in wastewater is enhanced, the dosage of chemicals is reduced, and mineral wastewater can be treated more environmentally and efficiently. According to the method, the magnetic material is wide in source, low in cost and recyclable, the pain points of large reagent residue and high return water turbidity of the ore wastewater are eliminated, and sustainable development of zero discharge of the wastewater is assisted.
