Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the technical field of machining, in particular to a large module rectangular forge piece forging forming method which comprises the steps that a steel ingot is upset and drawn out to form a rectangular blank, and the middle portions of the end faces of the two ends of the rectangular blank are each provided with a steel ingot bad component gathering area; a rectangular blank is placed on a platform, and a through hole is formed in the platform. According to the embodiment of the invention, after the raw material steel ingot is upset and drawn out, the two ends of the water riser of the blank are extruded and trimmed, so that bad components protrude and gather in the direction away from the blank, part of non-bad components are extruded to return to the blank body so as to be separated from the bad components, and under the condition that the cutting amount is determined, the effective cutting amount is higher; compared with the prior art, the number and probability of residual bad co
