Zusammenfassung: | In order to configure a converter (CON) having an adjustable reference generator (RGEN) for generating a reference signal (RF) for a converter output signal (VABC), a large number of operating data sets (BD) are read. A pulse width modulator (PWM) for generating a square wave signal (RS) pulse width modulated by a reference signal (RF); and a converter (TP) for converting the square wave signal (RS) into an output signal (VABC). Each of the operating data sets (BD) is fed into a first machine learning module (ML1). According to the invention, for a respective finally derived output data set (SD1) of the first machine learning module, the finally derived converter performance resulting from an adjustment of the reference generator (RGEN) on the basis of the output data set (SD1) is determined.
