The embodiment of the invention discloses an audio playing method and a related device, which can be applied to a vehicle-mounted scene. The method comprises: receiving a simulcasting request message sent by a target terminal device, the simulcasting request message being used for requesting to initiate a simulcasting activity of a target audio, the simulcasting request message comprising playing indication information related to the target audio; in response to the simulcasting request message, sending a simulcasting invitation message of a simulcasting activity to terminal equipment in a reference range, the reference range being determined according to the position of the target terminal equipment; receiving a simulcasting participation message for the simulcasting activity sent by the participating terminal equipment, wherein the participating terminal equipment is the terminal equipment selected to participate in the simulcasting activity in response to the simulcasting invitation message; and if it is d
