When an inter-phase or three-phase fault occurs in a sending-out line, breakers at the two ends trip, a current transformer is used for sampling three-phase current signals of the shunt reactor, differential mode current of the shunt reactor is calculated, zero-cross detection is carried out on the differential mode current, a fault property recognition criterion is constructed, and fault property judgment is carried out in combination with a sliding time window within the maximum judgment time limit. For a permanent fault, the reclosing device is locked; and for an instantaneous fault, calculating a fault disappearance moment, determining a reclosing moment, and opening a reclosing device.
