Zusammenfassung: | Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a head-up display (HUD) with a beam scanner having a field curvature that matches the HUD projection. A head-up display (HUD) system includes a light emitter configured to generate a plurality of pixel beams corresponding to an image and transmit the plurality of pixel beams on an optical path; a two-dimensional (2D) scanner arranged on the optical path, where the 2D scanner is configured to receive the plurality of pixel beams from the light emitter and to steer the plurality of pixel beams along the optical path according to a 2D scanning pattern; and a diffuser screen disposed on the optical path downstream of the 2D scanner, where the diffuser screen includes a curved body having a surface curvature. The diffuser screen is configured to expand a beam width of each pixel beam to generate a plurality of divergent pixel beams. The 2D scanner has a projection field curvature that substantially matches the surface curvature of the diffuser screen.
