Zusammenfassung:	A pneumatic device having a cylinder (5) and a piston (6) movably mounted in the cylinder (5), the interior of the cylinder (5) being divided by the piston into two chambers (7, 8), where the chambers (7, 8) are connected to a piping network (10) of the pneumatic device (1-4) comprising a valve assembly (9), where the piping network (10) is adapted to be connected to the pneumatic device (1-4) in a plurality of operating states of the valve assembly (9) for venting the respective chambers (7, 8). In at least one operating state of the valve assembly (9), a respective chamber (7, 8) is connected to a respective selected at least one of the exhaust ports (11-13) of the pneumatic device (1-4), and in at least another operating state of the valve assembly (9), the respective chamber is disconnected from the exhaust port (11-13) or all the exhaust ports (11-13), the control device (14) of the pneumatic device (1-4) being adapted to adjust the operating state of the valve assembly (9), wherein the duct network (10)
