The invention relates to the field of soft soil foundation construction, in particular to a vacuum preloading siphon process, which comprises the following steps of: dividing a soft soil foundation area to be constructed, sampling soil bodies of all sub-areas, and calculating diffusion characterization parameters of fluid in soil according to the diffusion depth of dye liquid corresponding to each sub-area in combination with the water content and density of a soil body sample; dividing in-soil fluid diffusion types of soil bodies in the sub-regions, determining the arrangement number of siphon pipelines in the sub-regions and the thickness of laid sand cushions, laying siphon bodies in the foundation, laying the sand cushions with the preset thickness on the surface of the foundation, sealing the sand cushions with films, and exhausting air from the sand cushions through a vacuum pump, the method comprises the following steps: selecting a soil consolidation mode aiming at a sub-region based on an in-soil flu
