Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a circular non-coding RNA (Ribonucleic Acid), the circular non-coding RNA is circFxr2, and the sequence of the circular non-coding RNA is shown as SEQ ID NO. 1 or SEQ ID NO. 2. The invention also discloses a Varbin protein coded by the annular non-coding RNA, and the amino acid sequence of the Varbin protein is shown as SEQ ID NO.3 or SEQ ID NO.4. The invention also discloses a Varbin protein coded by the annular non-coding RNA. The Varbrin protein provided by the invention can significantly inhibit proliferation of smooth muscle (SMC) cells, and Varbrin gene expression in vascular smooth muscle cells is intervened through small interfering siRNA and adenovirus, which indicates that the Varbrin gene plays an important role in the atherosclerosis stage, and can be used as a new molecular marker and an intervention target for diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis.
