The axle steering system comprises a front steering axle (10); the steering axle group (20) is positioned on the rear side of the front steering axle (10); the hydraulic driver (30) is in driving connection with the steering axle group (20); the electro-hydraulic proportional control valve (40) is arranged on a hydraulic oil path of the hydraulic driver (30) and is configured to control the driving action of the hydraulic driver (30); the controller (50) is in signal connection with the electro-hydraulic proportional control valve (40) and is configured to send a control signal to the electro-hydraulic proportional control valve (40) according to a turning angle signal of the front steering axle (10); and the hydraulic driver (30) drives the steering axle group (20) to steer according to a steering angle matched with a steering angle signal of the front steering axle (10) through the electro-hydraulic proportional control
